Maca

Maca is a root that has grown in the Andes before the Incas started using it as a gift to the gods in ceremonies and rituals. Maca is a super food known to provide high energy levels, hormone balance and an overall health booster. Grown at high elevations of between 3,800 to 4,800 meters above sea level, maca absorbs all the rich nutrients that the land provides. For that reason, lands where maca have been planted, must rest for 4 years to allow the soil to replenish its nutrients.
