Purple Corn

Purple corn has been grown in Peru for thousands of years. The pigment giving purple corn its vivid color derives from an exceptional content of a class of polyphenols called anthocyanins which are a powerful antioxidant. Purple corn lowers blood pressure, reduces blood clots and elevates antioxidant capacity of the blood.
