Tarwi

Tarwi is a species of lupine that grows in the Peruvian Andes at elevations between 2,800 and 3,900 meters above sea level. The plant produces round bean-like seeds that have a full range of amino acids that provide Tarwi with protein levels of over 40%. It also contains zinc, potassium and magnesium and vitamins C, E, B complex, as well as Omega 3 and Omega 6.
